Mr. Govind Gupta, Chairman

Mr. Gupta after completing his B.Tech in Chemical Engineering went to University of Florida, Gainesville, US where he completed his Masters in Chemical Engineering. At present, Mr. Gupta is a Director in a software firm Indusa Infotech Services Pvt. Ltd. He is the past Chairman of IACC, Gujarat and can be given credit for the upliftment of the Chamber.

Mr. Govind Baldva , Member

Mr. Baldva is a Textile Engineer and completed his MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He has his own Textile Unit in Ahmedabad.

Mr. Pavan Bakeri, Member

Mr. Bakeri after completing his Bachelor of Engineering went for Masters in Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is one of the founder members of IAES Gujarat. He belongs to the Bakeri group, one of the oldest and most trusted real estate groups in India. He presently looks after various projects of the group and overall growth and serves as a managing director of the group

Mrs. Pooja Shroff , Member

A political science major, she has a post graduate diploma in Management Education Program from IIM-Ahmedabad. Mrs.  Pooja Shroff is the Executive Director of the Calorx Group of Companies, Delhi, she is the managing trustee of Visamo Kids, Delhi Public School Ahmedabad and Prerna (for the dyslexic genius).

Mr. Tyagrajan , Member

B.Tech (Mechanical Engg.) from Institute of Engineer. Currently he is working as General Manager HR at Mott Mac Donald. He is a visiting faculty at Nirma University and also Academic Council Member of Nirma University. He is on the Board of Studies-Institute of Management, Board of Studies – Institute of Engg- Nirma University.

Prof. Manish Gupta , Member

Manish K. Gupta received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mathematics from the University of Lucknow, India in 1990 and 1992 respectively and the Ph.D. degree in Mathematics in 2000 from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India. Currently he is with the Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA-IICT), India working as an assistant professor.

Mr. Sunil Parekh , Member

Mr. Sunil Parekh is the corporate advisor to the Zydus Group, Crisil Risk Solutions, and Suzlon Energy Ltd. He is also actively involved in the New Business Incubators Program at the National Institute of Design (NID) and IIMA. He is a rank holder from IIT Delhi in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Programming. He has over 30 years of professional experience including 15 years of international exposure in Africa, Europe, and the U.S. and has led several business delegations to the US. He is a member of several Governing Councils and Trusts and is the Executive Chairman of the IIT Delhi Alumni Association.

Dr. Madhu Mehta , Member

Dr Madhu Mehta, is a graduate of MS University of Baroda, and has got MS and Ph. D in Electrical Engineering with Computer Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology. He has worked for ten years in the US telecom industry before returning to India.In India he has been a serial entrepreneur initiating path breaking activities in computers, real time systems, software exports, telecom billing and Interactive voice systems. His company Anjaleem Enterprises has won export awards for their Call Metering Systems exports to Saudi Arabia against stiff competition from MNC's. His Company developed the first attended STD PCO with printed receipt. Since the year 2004, in the spirit to give back, he has started activities to promote technology entrepreneurship, commencing with NirmaLabs, unique incubator for techno entrepreneurship promotion at Nirma University campus. Currently he is a convener of a task force on techno-entrepreneurship of CII.
