Mr. Vishnu Varshney, Chairman

Mr Varshney received his B Tech from IIT, Kanpur and his MS in Electrical Engineering and MBA from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, USA. He worked for few years in the United States before he returned back to India. He is currently the Managing Director & CEO of Gujarat Venture Finance Ltd, an autonomous Company. He has worked for 26 years at GIIC, GVFL & other companies. He is very active in various professional bodies including Ahmedabad Management Association, CII etc. He is the Chairman of Indo American Chamber of Commerce and Former Chairman of Indian Venture Capital Association. He is on several Boards including advisory boards of IIT, Kanpur and IIM-Ahmedabad .

His interest in US dates back to early 70’s when he was a Graduate student. He was the Head of Foreign Student Department at Louisiana State University in Student Government for several years. During that period, he took several initiatives in bringing students of various nationalities together. For his active role in this, he was a awarded Who's  Who in American Colleges & Universities in 1973 and was the first foreign student ever to be given this honor.

Mr. Govind Gupta, Member

Mr. Gupta after completing his B.Tech in Chemical Engineering went to University of Florida, Gainesville, US where he completed his Masters in Chemical Engineering. At present, Mr. Gupta is a Director in a software firm Indusa Infotech Services Pvt. Ltd. He is the past Chairman of IACC, Gujarat and can be given credit for the upliftment of the Chamber.

Mr. Govind Baldva , Member

Mr. Baldva is a Textile Engineer and completed his MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He has his own Textile Unit in Ahmedabad.

Mrs. Pooja Shroff , Member

A political science major, she has a post graduate diploma in Management Education Program from IIM-Ahmedabad. Mrs.  Pooja Shroff is the Executive Director of the Calorx Group of Companies, Delhi, she is the managing trustee of Visamo Kids, Delhi Public School Ahmedabad and Prerna (for the dyslexic genius).

Mr. Tyagrajan , Member

B.Tech (Mechanical Engg.) from Institute of Engineer. Currently he is working as General Manager HR at Mott Mac Donald. He is a visiting faculty at Nirma University and also Academic Council Member of Nirma University. He is on the Board of Studies-Institute of Management, Board of Studies – Institute of Engg- Nirma University.

Mr. Ashok Mehta , Member

Ashok has a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Youngstown State University in Ohio, and an MBA from Bryant College in Rhode Island. Intech was founded by Ashok Mehta in 1979.

Prof. Manish Gupta , Member

Manish K. Gupta received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mathematics from the University of Lucknow, India in 1990 and 1992 respectively and the Ph.D. degree in Mathematics in 2000 from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India. Currently he is with the Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA-IICT), India working as an assistant professor.
