Founder Members

To fulfill the requirements of the Gujarat based students, seven successful professionals of Ahmedabad, who had been educated in USA, took the initiative and organized themselves to form Indo American Education Society as a non-profit organization under the chairmanship of Mr. Vishnu Varshney. The Founder Members have contributed to the initial corpus from their personal funds to meet the start up expenses. Background of these Members is as below:

We approached US Educational Foundation in India (USIEF) for granting IAES a Satellite Center status. USIEF, which had been primarily set up in 1950 as a binational organization to administer the Indo US Fulbright Exchange program, undertook in the mid sixties the responsibility of providing Educational Advising Services in the 4 metropolitan cities of India.
